Moving between school systems can be challenging, making grade placement complex. Below you can find detailed information about your child鈥檚 grade placement.
At AISCT, our first point of reference is the age of the child on August 1. Unless there is significant evidence to suggest a child鈥檚 needs will be best met in a different grade, all children will be placed according to the Grade Placement Chart linked below.
In addition to the chart, we use reports and referrals submitted from the current school as well as an admissions assessment for students entering Kindergarten 2鈥揋rade 12.
